1st edition of the HealthEConnect pilot program
Exciting times lie ahead! The Health Innovation and Entrepreneurship program, defined as a specialization area within the NOVA SBE’s MSc in Impact Entrepreneurship and Innovation (MIEI), officially kicked off in September 2023.
In the first semester, MIEI students enrolled in the specialisation will delve into the realms of entrepreneurship and innovation for impact. In the second semester, they will dive into core healthcare subjects, including but not limited to value-based healthcare, life-cycle nutrition, medicine 4.0, and elderly care. This foundational knowledge sets the stage for a comprehensive understanding of the dynamic intersection between business and the evolving landscape of healthcare. Following this enriching theoretical semester, students will get their hands dirty with a unique field experience from September to December.
This unparalleled opportunity will allow them to:
1️⃣ Collaborate with startups formed by patients and caregivers associated with Patient Innovation activities.
2️⃣ Work alongside startups incubated in the Bio Innovation Institute in Copenhagen.
3️⃣ Partner with organizations within NOVA SBE’s Innovation Ecosystem (IECO).
4️⃣ Engage with any other company affiliated with the Health Innovation Ecosystem that is participating in the program (subject to availability).
This real-world exposure, built on solid business and medical theoretical expertise, will ensure a holistic learning experience, empowering graduates to lead successful ventures in this dynamic field.
