HealthEConnect Consortium Meeting

On July 19th, BII hosted the HealthEConnect Consortium Meeting in Copenhagen, bringing together partners to reflect on the first year of the Health Innovation Specialization within Nova SBE’s MSc in Impact Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and to prepare for the upcoming academic year.

During the meeting, consortium members had the opportunity to visit several entrepreneurship initiatives at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), including DTU Skylab and the DTU Open Innovation Platform. These platforms integrate cutting-edge technologies and talents from various fields, fostering a unique culture of cross-disciplinary learning and innovation. DTU Skylab offers support for deep tech startups and pre-startup projects through soft funding, business acceleration, prototyping, and growth spaces. Meanwhile, DTU Science Park, known for housing a wide range of companies in life sciences, biotech, medtech, and robotics, provides internationally recognized growth programs and optimal conditions for company expansion.

The meeting was highly productive, with significant progress made in reviewing the previous year’s achievements and planning future activities. Discussions focused on ensuring the project’s sustainability and emphasized continuous improvements in both academic and operational areas. The visit to DTU Skylab was especially inspiring, offering fresh ideas to enhance the consortium’s entrepreneurial efforts.

The consortium remains dedicated to achieving its objectives and ensuring the long-term success of the HealthEConnect project.
